Kano state on Sunday was on stand still when the presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar came calling for his presidential campaign rally.
Thousands of enthusiastic residents trooped into the streets and the Sani Abacha stadium to welcome Atiku and other bigwigs of the party.
