The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the postponement of today’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
In a statement issued early Saturday morning and personally signed by the Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the Commission said presidential and National Assembly elections will now hold Saturday February 23, 2019 while governorship and Houses of Assembly elections to hold March 9,2019.
Mahmood said the decision was reached after reviewing the Commission’s logistics and operations plans.
