The Federal Government has assured Nigerian youths that it will soon commence the collation of a youth database across the country.
The Minister for Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, disclosed this in an interactive session with the representatives of the youths from all the states in Minna, the Niger State capital.
Dare said the data collection exercise will capture youths between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
The Minister further hinted that the enumerators will be the Nigerian youths who have the ability to read and write.
He assured the youths that the database will be a guiding roadmap in engaging them in different programmes by the Federal Government.
Dare commended them for the role they have so far played in building Nigeria, despite the challenges they are contending with.
