Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has frowned at the delays in voting at the ongoing gubernatorial election in the state caused by malfunctioning card readers.
In a tweet after he cast his vote, the Governor said he arrived at his polling unit by 10:28am and only voted by 11:48am after spending more than an hour in the queue. He said he expected the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to have prepared adequately for the election.
Obaseki also faulted the conduct of security operatives.
