The Lagos State Government has categorically stated that all government-owned schools in the state would henceforth maintain the shift-system in the bid to combat the Covid19 pandemic.

It stated that, the shift system is essential is to avoid large gatherings and for the enforcement of social and physical distancing in its bid to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The state government stated that during the shift system, safety protocols necessary to curb the spread of COVID-19 would be observed and enforced.

It outlined that, the system would entail, students in SS1 and JS3 classes going to school only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while students in SSS 2 and JSS 2 will attend school only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
