A day after leader of Nigeria’s Junta Muhammadu Buhari shunned the summons from the National assembly, he departed Abuja and plans to spend a week in his home town Daura, Katsina state.
The president is expected to spend the week attending to private engagements.
According to his spokesperson Garba Shehu, he may attend the weekly FEC meeting from his village via video conferencing.
