Vera Uwaila Omozuwa; a 22-year-old 100-level student of the University of Benin, Edo State was raped and killed inside a Redeemed Christian Church of God in Benin city.
She was said to have gone to study at a church near her home. Her family received a telephone call from RCCG on Wednesday alerting them she had been found bleeding with her clothes torn. Pictures show that her skull was smashed with a fire extinguisher.
She was rushed to the hospital but died from her injuries.
